Artworks by Print Master Ryuzo ONOE, and others made in Shima City.
This is an exhibition of prints using copperplate printing technique. The works of Ryuzo ONOE and the works of students, senior citizens, and tourists from outside the prefecture, which were produced under his instruction, will also be exhibited.
Opening Event & Printmaking Workshop : Sun 15 Nov, 11am – 3pm
【Workshop】Let’s experience the technique of copper printing (drypoint).
Use a postcard-sized resin plate and try drypoint technique.
11:30am – 12:30pm and 13:30pm – 14:30pm. Up to 3 people each time.
「尾上隆三とたくさんの人々」
銅版画の技術を極め、志摩市のアオ版画工房で活動する尾上隆三と、一緒に制作した人々の作品展です。
会期 2020 年 11 月 15 日(日)~2021 年 2 月 4 日(木)
内容 銅版画の技術を用いた版画の展示です。尾上隆三氏の作品に加え、氏の指導の下銅版画を 作成した学生から高齢者、県外の観光客の方の作品も展示します。
オープニングイベント&ワークショップ 11 月 15 日(日)11:00AM~3:00PM
【ワークショップ】銅版画の技術(ドライポイント)を体験してみよう。 ハガキサイズの樹脂の板を使い、ドライポイントの技法を用います。
11時30分~12時30分と13時30分~14時30分、各回上限3名。
出展作品 尾上隆三作品 大衣サイズ(394×509mm)の銅版画 2 点 その他の人々の作品 300×200mm 程度 の銅版画 17 点ほど

ARToba は、アートが持つ人と地域をつなぐ可能性を広げ、より一層地域のアーティストが活躍する 場づくりや仕組みづくりに取り組んでいきたいと考えいます。
「ARToba Plus Network」展覧会シリーズと銘打ち、鳥羽市内外のアクティブな産業や文化施設、商業 施設とのパートナーシップを拡大させ、展覧会の規模をより大きなものに発展させていきたいと考え ています。今回はその第一弾として、「アオ版画工房」とのジョイント展を企画しています。

作家より今回の展示について
これまで、絵描きの町大王町で、子どもから学生、高齢者、また観光客も合わせて約 80 名の方に志摩 市で銅版画作りに参加してもらいました。さまざまな人に版画の魅力を体感して頂きアートの発信を 目指しています。

About the new initiative “ARToba Plus Network” exhibition series
ARToba wants to expand the possibilities of art to connect people and the regional community, through creating places and systems where local artists can play a more active role.
In the “ARToba Plus Network” exhibition series, we want to expand our partnerships with active industrial, cultural and commercial facilities inside and outside Toba City, and expand the scale of exhibition activities.
This time, as the first step, we are holding joint exhibitions with AO Printmaking Studio in both Toba and Shima cities.

So far, in Daio-cho, Shima City, which is known as a town of painters, I have worked to make copperplate prints with about 80 people, including children, students, senior citizens, and tourists.
My goal is to have people from all walks of life experience the fascinating aspects of printmaking.
